Pzoeliar is a little known demigod who serves to bind divinities to their obligations. Born of the Midgard Serpent and the Sphinx, Pzoeliar has long felt that full divinity was his birthright. He is served by a serpentine race of humanoids known as the Ythrus as well as a number of priests from the common mortal races. His practitioners wield a variant of black magic akin to voodoo, and with the right materials - portraits, dolls, bits of hair or fingernails - a binding can be worked, placing the subject under Pzoeliar's control. Pzoeliar's title as Binder, however, doesn't come from that; the title relates to his ability to bind the gods to her pledges - said another way, it is Pzoeliar who enforces divine compacts.
As to how he's accrued his vast power, this Daemon Lord auctions his services to the highest bidder roughly every seven hundred years. At this point, he serves Lilith the Widow, but in matter of decades, the constellations will align and Pzoeliar' will be back on the blocks . . .
