As to what she once was, I'm not at liberty to say, but after devouring Loki's two-faced daughter Hel, Leviathan took over the infernal realm, and for better than thirty thousand years, she's been the concubine of Nergal, the grim Lord of Death. As to Loki, three of the Dragonmother's heads are generally inclined his way - but with the other four - including the central master - looking after the Death Lord, Leviathan's allegiance is not a matter of debate . . .
