What to say of the Ruby? First, it is a fountain of hope, a wellspring of possibility in the darkest of times.  At least it had been. As to its whereabouts now, this ancient Ruby that predates the Triad of Light, I simply don't know.  Which comes back to a theme I've taken pains not to harp - Alvidan is a world in peril . . .
