Rosebud Pendersnapple resides in a great edifice known as the Archives of Sparkfire Peak.  Accepted by the dwarves as one of a handful of Eldests, Rosebud has a penchant for good-natured swindling, whether it be at dice, cards, or any similar means.  She also has a way of seeing to the core of things, no matter that she's quite nearly blind. Like all the Eldests, she's long been concerned about Zailen's wellbeing.
