Generally speaking, the gods are the most powerful beings in Alvidan, but the lines are often gray, and as a practical matter, it is often the demigods who determine just how the globe will spin, maneuvering in accord or defiance with the Sacred Covenant in ways that full divinities cannot and bringing their awesome powers to bear on a world that, by and large, hasn’t the means to resist.
